Colorful Apple Festival in Guba

The apple is a symbol of Guba. A sculpture at the entrance to the city is dedicated to it, an annual festival is held in honor of it, which attracts guests from all over the country. The city these days is literally buried in apples. Palmet, Seven, Fuji - a lot of varieties. Dozens of farms brought their best products and compete in various competitions, for example, for the biggest apple or the most delicious apple jam, the most delicious juice or apple cake.

In connection with the 5th anniversary of the  Apples Festival, an extensive plan of events was prepared, within which various varieties of apples and products made from them, as well as fruit and vegetables grown in the region, dance and music groups, folk music performers perform, ropewalkers and craftsmen show their skills ; guests are presented with cakes and sweets from apples, jams and compotes; excursions to the sights of the Guba region of Azerbaijan are organized for guests.

Last year, about 100 foreign guests, diplomats, public figures, as well as citizens of Azerbaijan and other countries took part in the Apple Festival.
